De-regulating your life seems like a big project, but setting aside 20 minutes a week can have a big impact. How to be happy? What can you do in 20 minutes? A lot of things.
Set a timer on your phone and take 15 minutes to tidy up a specific space in one room like your wardrobe or discarded drawer. Put everything in place and throw out any extra clutter that doesn’t serve you anymore.
Keep a box dedicated to your things to make things a little easier (and avoid creating more clutter). Use the remaining five minutes to take a quick stroll through your living space and clean up all the throws.
You can do this thing once a week, once a day, or anytime you feel like your space is no longer appropriate to live in.

In adulthood, one may feel that it is impossible to form new friendships, but it is not related to the number of friends you have, but rather to meaningful relationships even if it is only with one or two people.
Try engaging in a local volunteer group or taking a semester in a field that you like. Both can help you get to know like-minded people in your life. And there is a possibility that they are looking for friends too. And be aware that companionship should not be limited to the human race only, as sometimes pets can provide similar benefits. Do you feel like you are fading away? Try to sit down at the end of each week and make a basic list of what to do for the following week. Even if you don’t stick to the plan, limiting when you can do the laundry, go grocery shopping, or tackle projects at work can help calm your mind and organize your time.

There are many methods of meditation to explore. It can involve movement, focus, spirituality, or a combination of the three. Meditation doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as sitting quietly with your thoughts for 5 minutes. Even the deep breathing exercises mentioned earlier can be a form of meditation.

We are definitely happier when we learn to deal with obstacles. When you encounter a problem, think about something similar in the past.
